EXTRA CREDIT OPPORTUNITY FOR U.S. HISTORY STUDENTS: Due no later than Thursday, November 03, 2016!

You have two options:

1) You can submit an entry to the History Channel's #Honor a Vet event to honor veterans as we approach this year's Veterans Day observances. Follow this link to see complete instructions on how to do this. A completed entry will be worth 30 points extra credit for the 1st marking period. Once you complete your entry, send me your information so I can find your post and retweet it so it appears on our classes Twitter feed.

2) I am offering all Modern U.S. History Honors students an opportunity to earn extra credit points toward their 1st marking period grade by finding articles of historical importance/interest, that can be used for class discussion, and posting them to our class Twitter account along with a brief question pertaining to the article. You will receive 10 bonus points for each tweet, with a limit of 3 tweets per student (for a total of 30 bonus points). You may not duplicate another student's article. To help me keep things organized and searchable, please mention our class username,@BruceAlmightey and label your tweets with the following hashtag: #ushonors
